Biography of Abraham Beniso

Born ca 1922. Cantor at Gibraltar's Nefutsot Yehuda Synagogue. Performs in the Spanish and Portuguese Sephardi tradition.

Grandson Ariel Lazarus has himself performed and recorded the Sephardic repertory, and wrote The Gibraltar Suite – A Song Cycle of Sephardic Melodies, which he has performed with his grandfather.
