Arrangements by Nissan Cohen Melamed. (1906–1983), an authority on Jewish music and liturgical melodies of the east. Cohen Melamed was cantor of the Sephardi Great Synagogue "Ohel Moed" in Tel Aviv and director of the Pirkhei Kehunah College for Sephardi cantillation. Later in his career he joined the faculty of Jewish Music of Bar-Ilan University.
